So does anybody know if Cromartie is even interested in signing with us? Im guessing he's not because Im pretty sure he would of signed already. I called it from the beginning.. Nnamdi has screwed us more than 1 way..

I think if Cromartie is not signed by mid-night East coast time we need to say nice knowing you and go after someone else

    My top picks wuold be

Phillip Buchanon - Solid CB and since he was already visited, Rex must feel he would fit in.
Dimitri Patterson - Solid stats and would be a good addition.
Carlos Rogers - Could come in and start oposite Revis, has 1 year in 3-4 sceem.

Lastly, Lito Sheppard - He has experience in our defense and could backup Wilson or posible beat him out. Not saying much for Wilson if he does.....

I think his agent is just using Tanny as a tool again..... or is it making a tool out of Tanny?

Asomugha's situation has had zero impact on the Jets pursuit of Cromartie. Cro was never going to start taking offers until Asomugha signed and set the market, and whether or not he felt "disrespected" he was always going to take the highest offer (as he's clearly stated himself.)

It is shocking to me that some people haven't put that together yet.

Do you really think that if the Jets make Cromartie the highest offer he'll turn it down because we tried to sign Asomugha first?

Its very pathetic to think Cro will not sign with us simply because we tried to get Aso. Seriously, do u know football?

Oh, n if ur theory was true, Cro would have said no to us long time ago. The fact that the (reported) negotiations are on going means he is interested.

Then you'll come up with that stupid theory of "if he wanted to play for the Jets, he would have signed already". Got news for you. People don't sign contracts just because they want to play for u. What if our offer was just $4 mil? U still think he should have signed just because he wants to play here?

Seriously, just stop posting. Making a tool out of Tanny? Wow. Some people have zero football sense. Making a tool out of Tanny would be something like giving Aso a $20mil a yr contract. U seriously think the agents never shop a contract, especially for the most talented FA of the year? Think again. Tanny played well. Very well. He used his cards wisely. He tried to get Aso on the cheap and it didn't work. He had his back up plans, as evident. Cro was the fall back option. If Cro doesn't resign, I still don't mind seeing Wilson start. If Cro starts, Wilson will not get his turn to start for a good 3-4 more years unless theres an injury, or if there is a trade/cut.

when people are so emotionally involved in a situation that they have no actual involvement in or control of, they become extremely insecure about the outcome. the insecurity is irrational, and thus their insecurity causes them to believe the participants involved are equally irrational in their decisions, and thus they begin to speculate stupid and irrational reasons for why the scenario hasn't resolved itself in the way that they would have liked it.
