Dallas is due to blow up and crumble in the aftermath of the inevitable Parcells/Owens feud. KC I don't see for the exact reason that you mentioned: because Herm tolerates sloth in veterans. The Chiefs have a group of fairly talented veterans who do not have combustible personalities and who I think can get the job done without significant pressure from the coach. If they lag, Herm has always been able to motivate his players without turning them against him. Rather than a huge clubhouse timebomb waiting to explode, I see the Chiefs like the Jets when Herm took them over--a veteran team who can be a factor because of their coaches laid back mentality but are ultimately doomed to mediocrity because of that same quality in their coach.
