Manish reports Rob Turner signed back to a one year deal. ManMeht This won't get any coverage on ESPN and it's likely to be lost on some Nnamdi-hungover Jets fan, but this is a very important signing. Simply put, Rob Turner is good enough to start on most teams in the NFL. We might have a question mark at right tackle at the moment, but the interior of the line- regardless of Brandon Moore's recovery schedule- is secure. These are the kind of crucial roster transactions that go unnoticed by national media. I certainly hope he doesn't get the opportunity, but if Turner ever needs to come into the starting line-up, he's going to be the offense's version of Sione Pouha.
I didn't see this. Big signing. OL depth is secure across the line. Hunter/Turner is a tandem that every team wishes they had backing up their OL
yeah we would all love an 8th OL who can start in this league... but in reality if we get down to our 8th OL we are fucked anyways... having our top 7 in the fold and a developmental 8th guy will be enough.
