Drew Coleman is a Jaguar, Vernon Gholston is a Bear.

Props to Coleman, who finally came through last year, but I'd put these two along with Justin McCareins and Kerry Rhodes as "Most Hated Jets of the '00's."

Boy, do we need to sign some corners. Quick.

Man, I know its early in the FA game, but I dont like how we are starting off. Something tells me Tanny just got hit with a reality check and this was only the beginning.

The JETS were apparently kicked out and disrespected in the Aso talks. How dare anyone play Tanny like that?

If I remember correctly, Coleman did show up in the Pats game and late in the season as well.

Del Rio's ass is on the line this season. If they don't make the playoffs (and probably if they don't win a game once they're there,) he's unemployed.

Coleman didn't do anything for the Jets that 90% of #4 corners in football couldn't do.

He had a few nice games, but he also was almost never responsible for covering anyone better than the other team's #4 option. And he didn't even do that particularly well. I'm not sorry to see him go.

Credit where it's due. Coleman sucks at cornerback, Gholston sucks at life.

Coleman put in some important work for this team last year at... whatever the hell position he played... non-coverage defensive back? I'm glad he was a Jet in 2010; I just wish he hadn't been a Jet those years beforehand.

Appparently the jets offered him a contract but the jags offered 3yrs and $7.4m max value contract - he wil earn a minimum of $1.8m in 2011 (per Manish)

Sad to see Coleman go, I thought he turned into a pretty reliable player last season. I disagree with the thought that 90% of #4 CB's could do what he did. His bliztzing and tackling was on par with some pretty good CB's. The sack he had of Brady where he went over Brady was probably the best play he made as a Jet.

Can almost guarantee Gholston makes it a pretty decent career now playing in a 4-3 where he should have been all along and having Peppers on the other side.

Coleman, i'm not surprised. People on here can hate all they want, but he had really good year for us last year.

Gholston on the hand, i'm shocked. Maybe Lovey sees something in him

I'm willing to bet he still doesn't get a sack in his first season with the Bears.
