we have two primary backup OL in Turner and the loser of the Wayne Hunter/Vlad Ducasse battle for RT. So yeah, our 3rd backup OL wouldnt see the field except in case of total emergency. In which case we are royally fubard. Then we are dragging big woods ass off the couch.
The Giants cut Seubert, he's a good player and should come cheaply. The cap hit to the giants was $2.25mm. Jets should be able to fit him in. The good news is the O doesn't need much more than another lineman and a WR (assuming LT comes back.. he should be able to replace what Smith gave them as a threat on offense, I don't think they used him enough in the passing game last year due to Smith running the wildcat. Safety worries me though, I have nightmares of Eric Smith in coverage...
