You know there is a problem when your hoping for undrafted free agents to come in and contribute in their first year...

that could be a HUGE move that would totally make up for losing Nnamdi IMO... It seems like him and the Steelers have made amends however. Steelers would be stupid to let this beast go.. But you never know!!

It would be way easier to leave him at DE in a 34, he isn't that gifted as a passrusher to stand up. IT isn't like Mario Williams transitioning to OLB, he has actually proved he's an effective NFL rusher.

He would be a very athletic 34 DE, which where he should play...

What about Ryan Harris OT from Denver for someone else to compete for RT position.

we have two primary backup OL in Turner and the loser of the Wayne Hunter/Vlad Ducasse battle for RT. So yeah, our 3rd backup OL wouldnt see the field except in case of total emergency. In which case we are royally fubard. Then we are dragging big woods ass off the couch.

The Giants cut Seubert, he's a good player and should come cheaply. The cap hit to the giants was $2.25mm. Jets should be able to fit him in.

The good news is the O doesn't need much more than another lineman and a WR (assuming LT comes back.. he should be able to replace what Smith gave them as a threat on offense, I don't think they used him enough in the passing game last year due to Smith running the wildcat.

Safety worries me though, I have nightmares of Eric Smith in coverage...

There are some pretty good safeties available. Michael Huff probably leading the pack.
