Feel free to post wht you think is correct but imo the jrts should try and sign braylon and chris carr. You are filling major needs and can bring back pool e smith and whatever vets you want.

Most umportanty you arent entirely breaking the bank so you can sign a pass rusher next year if we need one. Lets not ruin or bright future on a dumb signing

You make a good point on going with a guy like Carr. He is a veteran stop gap until Wilson is ready to start. I really want to see Edwards come back out of all of the options. He WANTS to be here.

Here's the 1 issue, we need a Slot DB that can cover. We all know Coleman isn't gonna do it.
Wilson sucked donkey dik but made a little progress towards the eos.

That said, they are both serviceable if we had a stout pass rusher... unfortunately we don't so signing Cro becomes primo...

Agreed, I really hope we bring back Braylon. Our offense is so much more dangerous with him and Santonio on the field together.

You bring back Braylon asap and let the offense continue to flourish. Him, Holmes and Mark have chemistry and Braylon WANTS to be a Jet. Make it happen Mike.

    #1 - Braylon Edwards
    #2 - Antonio Cromartie
#3 - Try to trade for a pass rusher, not sure who but somebody has to be available

you get a guy like Braylon and show him a bit of love moneywise. He will walk through walls for you....or the Pats secondary, whichever comes first.

The question I have with Carr is his height, he's only 5'10" (listed anyway). Cro is 6'2". It doesn't sound like much but if he's going to be matched up with tall receivers it does make a difference unless he has incredible vertical leaping ability.

Cro knows the system and can probably be signed short-term. Either way they save money and can use it for other needs.

Can they sign both Cro and Braylon with the Aso money?

Possible, even by Mike Tannenbaum standards? Cap experts, what's the deal

Well many players have already restructered their contract so that gives us a little lee way on what we can afford. If both men would be willing, And It is HIGHLY Doubtful, to accept 7 mil a year a peice, we could do it.

Why not? Holmes' cap hit for 2011 is like 2.45 million

Then It's quite possible we could end up with both. We Need to sign Harris long term, to free up a little cap sapce and give us more lee way

you can't backload everyone's contract though, you need to think about next year and 2013 too, back-loading contracts is one reason why the Redskins are awful.

I mean its not like there are cbs who specialize playing nickel. Its a very difficult position. Carr has experience playing it and the way I see it whoever performs worse plays the position. Wilson is supposed to be our starter thats why we drafted him. I never understood why everyone wanted us to bring back cromartie for this reason and I have said this many times.

I wrote that from my iPhone. Its impossible to type on that thing.

I dont get why people still think we can sign Braylon and Cromartie. The only way this happens is if some how Braylon's value has dropped substantially and is only asking for 4-5 a year. Its honestly not possible. In addition I dont think it is worth it to sign any pass rusher that will cost us more than 2-3 mil a year. Signing a big deal for Lawson or someone will just be Calvin Pace/BT all over again. None of these guys are pro bowlers.
