    just lost another free agent, as P Steve Weatherford signed with the Giants

    Hopefully we can find a better punter to replace him. He didn't do very well in the playoffs, but otherwise over the past 2 years he's been ok, I thought.

    Assuming he makes it to September, nice for him to not have to move, especially considering the wandering job description of punters.

    At least he will get a permanent job with the Giants...Although, who wants to punt to Desean Jackson?

    He was great last year... until the playoffs. Then he was absolutely brutal and really almost cost us big time.

    I guess the Giants are over the Matt Dodge era? haha

    It was to bad he crapped in his pants in all 3 playoff games. Dude was great inside the 20 during the regular season. Can't wish him the best because he plays for the other team

    Well, time for T.J. Conley to step up - if he truly did improve as much as claimed during the 2010 camp.

    Weatherford was the better all-around jock, the knock on Conley (Univ. Idaho) was that he was an indoor punter which amped his gross average but that his hang time was an issue.
