This is the Patriots doing very un-Patriots things. This could turn out well for them, and it's a cheap move with a lot of upside, but this doesn't seem to fit their overall mold. You get the feeling that losing Pioli really had an impact. Ever since then, I've been a little puzzled by the free agent and draft moves.
This is a solid acquisition for the Gaytriots. Assuming they'll play more 4-3, a front of Cunningham-Wilfork-Haynesworth-Whoever will be pretty dominant in the run game.... I'm sure Belicheat will be able to convince Fat Albert to shut up and play the occasional snap in the 3-4 with a front of Haynesworth-Wilfork-Warren. That is a pretty beastly front.
Why is it unPatriot like? It is the same thing they have done in the past. 2004 with Dillon, 2007 with Moss...
Dillon was a great back, hard worker and respected teammate long before he went to the Pats. The popular mythology that Saint Bill put him on the true path is complete horseshit.
This is a really good point regarding the ass raping. A few quick questions if you don't mind. Do you feel that the new CBA is more or less conducive to the proposed ass raping of Brady by Haynesworth? Also, when hoping for ass raping of a quarterback by a defensive lineman, is race an important factor? In any case, I really appreciate your input, so I will sit back and take in the wisdom.
Really only a 5th in 2013? What's not being reported is that the Redskins originally asked for the DNA of Rob Gronkowski instead of a draft pick so they could clone a team of centaurs.
"Because he's a much better negro than that bad Randy Moss that demanded to be thrown to all the time. Why couldn't the Mad Genius control that situation?" Are you fucking stupid? Which city had the first black head coach in the history of American sports? Which city was home to the first black hockey player in the NHL? Which team was the first in American history to have the starters comprised completely of African-Americans? You're seriously accusing Boston of racism because they accused Moss of being selfiish in his fourth year, after every other team in the NFL had already had labeled him as such? Grow the fuck up. Which team had the best 2010 draft class? It's really not even close, either. In fact, it may end up being the best draft class of the past decade. Edit - I should be more fair. The Pats had a couple of bust drafts, but last year was just out of this world. You're talking a potential perennial all-pro corner, a run-stuffing ILB, a 4th round steal in Hernandez, an OLB with at least average NFL OLB potential, and a guy with HOF talent at Tight end. They also got a punter with top 5 NFL potential. It was really an out of this world draft that made up for a couple of stinkers.
Are you a fucking homer, a homo or both? I'd say both. I know Boston (the city) racist because I spent way too much time there. The 'good negro' comment was not about racism. It's because your coach demands all players to be good little robots and keep their mouths shut and march in single file. Let's just see how that goes.
I'm not sure if you know how to use google but you may want to look up the 2006 New York Jets draft class. McCourty, a TE, and some guys with potential = best of the decade. Right.
I think that's actually a reference to the end of Belichick's very brief tenure as the top man in New York when he resigned using a hand-written note (if I remember the story right) saying he was "resigning as the HC of the NYJ." As though he wanted out so quickly he didn't even take the time to write it all out. Could be wrong though. Just guessing. (And I understand the poster's feelings about having Boston be labeled that way, but do not necessarily condone even responding, which only sort of validates the ignorance of painting the roughly 15,000,000 people who live in New England with the same brush.)
