Not losing hope. Just saying that it's not out of the realm of possibility that Tampa is offering him $15mil or so. He'd obviously give the Jets a chance to up their offer a little. We won't match it, but I'm sure he's expecting us to raise the $12million, if that's what we initially offered. He wants to come to NY, that's obvious, but how much is he willing to leave on the table?
John Clayton ClaytonESPN John Clayton The 49ers release of cornerback Nate Clements clears $15.7 million of cap room. That should put them in the Nnamdi hunt
Did you just hand the SB trophy to a team over one player? And a Cornerback nonetheless. Holy shit. You don't know football.
The Bucs arent interested as some people are making it out to be. Truth is Asomoughas market is shrinking and many teams dont want to hold on much longer, add the fact that the the word on the street is he's going to the jets so why bother? We are in a good position cuz we have Edwards and Cro sucking our dick, these other teams dont have backup plans that want to play for them, we do.
Sapp has no place providing analysis. You know what would we perfect for him? Working with Frank Caliendo on the FOX pre-game shows. "And now here's a couple fat guys crackin' wise!"
its a luxury signing i said it earlier. watch aso tear an acl week 1 and were left with revis, wilson, and the ghost of drew colemans past and no depth at safety id be ecstatic if it happened but that much money at one position always has the potential to blow up in your face especially in football. then again cant put anything past tanny as far as working the cap
WTF?? 37 plus years I've been waiting for a championship. If it was as simple as 1 player, the Jets would have won multiple titles.
hahahahaha..... nah its the same as doing a porn search and a few of the links are links to gay porn. You just don't click on them. Keep moving, you didn't see anything. Its one of those porn sites for everyone, including those twitter people.
Can we please move on and go after another cb and sign Edwards. This Nnamdi situation just doesn't feel right anymore.
Assuming he signs a 3-4 year contract, and as I previously mentioned we have no devastating injuries. Then yes I consider the Jets a lock to win at LEAST one superbowl over the life of that contract. Fuck we almost got there with Lito Sheppard then Cromartie, the upgrade to Aso is lightyears ahead. Not to mention our franchise QB growing up
I think he's athletic enough to play 3-4 OLB, but he's not worth the kind of money he'll demand. Atlanta really wants him to play opposite Abraham. That's a really good fit.
