By the way it's rough shod. The saying is "riding rough shod" (that is, riding a horse with spiked nails on its shoes) - so figuratively, it means over-riding someone else's wishes or views without any tact or consideration.

Or you may have meant this (which I prefer): http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Rough Shot

Yeah the Jets are showing Cromartie no love at all right now.. If Aso doesnt sign with us then Cromartie is going to be mad that he was our second choice.. I would rather just move on and sign a guy like Chris Carr or some average CB like that and invest our money in the offense....

I think Cromartie knows he isn't at Aso's level.

And Braylon tweeted that he is highly unlikely to return to the Jets. If we dont sign Aso then we might possibly lose Cromartie and Braylon due to the speculation... We better get this deal done because its already costing us...

What do you say that? Just because they offered him a contract?? I really hope he doesnt go...

  7. Cromartie doesn't want to do anything until Aso signs anyway b/c Aso is going to set the market!

If we can't land Aso, Braylon HAS to be the priority.

I agree. The Jets need to put a deadline on this. This needs to end today. It is also not in the Jets best interest to drive the price up. Aso either wants to be a Jet or not. If its all about the cash, then time to move on.

I think Kyle Wilson deserves a chance - WR2 and safety should be a priority if Aso falls through

You spend the money on two solid guys. Peter King mentioned the Jets as the best fit for Richard Marshall from Carolina and Kelly Jennings from Seattle. Revis, Wilson and those two are a solid group of CB's. Maybe bring in another free safety to play opposite Jim L.
