I can honestly see, as I said yesterday, the Jets signing Holmes then Nnamdi THEN getting a big body like Plax or Moss. That still keeps all of our positions very high and gives Mark no drop off completely at the WR position.
I agree 100%. But would Holmes be worth 20 million dollars more than Edwards? Youre talking another 4~ million in cap space a year for 5 years, that would practically be enough money to go out and sign Edwards and Landry for the same price as Holmes.

There's no way its a 5 year, $24 mil deal. It's $50 mil over the course of 5 years but only $24 of it is guaranteed. That's a pretty good deal if you ask me.

24 guaranteed is the only number we know. I think ESPN guessed the 50 mil part. With the guaranteed # being at 24, the Jets clearly won this negotiation.
