I'd like to see peoples opinions on this.

Dependant on just how long this whole shit-fest goes on will go a long way to determine who the runners and riders are.
My feeling is that the teams that went to post season football and Teams like the Jets with a strong locker room will actually do alot better than others.
What about teams that picked high up in the draft, and I'm thinking about players they will look to start and make an immediate contribution here, every week that passes is another week of lost preparation which is definitely going to impact the 2011 season, if there is one.

teams whose systems didnt change, who have a vet QB, and don't have half their players in limbo, and aren't depending on rookies to have major impacts...

Pats, Colts, Packers, Steelers are the first ones to come to mind. Jets have most of those requirements fulfilled so they are in good shape, but not the absolute best they could be.

I was listening to Maurice Jones-Drew on Sirius NFL Radio this morning. He was making the point that teams with strong running games and solid defenses will fare well if the offseason or regular season gets started late because it doesn't take as long to get a running game and defense up to speed as it does a passing game. That sounds good for the Jets.

pretty much the teams that would've been considered contenders during a normal year will be stronger contenders this year.the teams that would've been also rans will struggle a little more in the beginning.i think a few teams will wrap up their divisions early this year and all chalk as far as picking the playoff teams

    Nothing different to add, really.

Teams with consistency and stability will fare best through the lockout. Teams with new coaches and systems will have a distinct disadvantage.

Teams that haven't made coaching/system changes definitely have an advantage

Also, teams that are not going to have to rely on rookies having a big impact. Those rookies are not getting the time with the coaches they need to understand the systems they are coming into.

The ones that will have the most continuity possible. That means same coaches, same QB and many (not washed up) veterans.

Jets will be in pretty good shape... we have veterans and leaders on our D and Sanchez, although not a veteran or an accomplished QB by any means, has great work etihc and leadership.
All of the coaches will be the same from last year.

Basically if last year you were a playoff teams you'll probably be one this year too... unless you lose some key players or coordinators.
