I was just thinking about how much I hate the Pats and the Fins, and then thinking about the Bills it was kinda like I felt bad for them. Then I start to think about us not having a Lombardi since 69 and how that sucks but I ask myself, would I rather be us or the Bills having gone to 4 straight or 3 straight SB's and losing every time? I'm thinking losing all those SB's would hurt more. Anyway:bills_suck: Your thoughts?
I actually think the Bills have some hope for the first time in a while. If you look at their last season, it was better than their record. They may have gone 4-12 but they took Chicago and New England to the wire and took Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Kansas City to overtime. We beat them senseless twice so our perception of them is a little colored, but we beat them senseless because we can run the ball and they were the worst in the league at stopping the run. Dareus will go a long way towards plugging the gaping holes they had up the middle, and they added a lot of young talent to an already decent secondary. Should we be too worried? Hell no. But the Dolphins probably should be. The Bills aren't quite the chumps they appear to be and the Phins are going to have no time at all to install a new offense. We may have a new cellar-dweller to kick around when all is said and done.
Yep, the Bills are up and may give us some competitive games this season. The Dolphins are in trouble and their whole offense is getting turned upside down. They are fortunate to have talent on the O-line which will allow them to turn it around eventually. Next two seasons though will be tough for them. We need to capitalize while both are down and get an AFC East, AFC, and NFL championships!
i'm a bills fan whenever they play an AFC team(besides the Jets of course) because i know they suck enough to not threaten us in the afc east. btw fuck the bills.
Fuck the Bills. That said, I think it hurts pretty bad to go to the Superbowl 4 times in a row and lose. Look how much we're getting roasted for going to the AFCCG twice and losing.
Been to the last five Jets at Bills games, I live in Toronto so it's my easiest way to see them, and I can tell you that all Bills fans would give up the 4 loses for our single win. I ask fans all the time and they don't hesitate for a second when they answer.
I always quite liked Marv Levy as a coach Bills will finish above the Phags should this season ever start.
The Bill are definitely better than their record indicates. Fitzgerald looks as if he could be the real deal. He had some solid numbers against us if I recall, with nothing for a supporting cast to boot.
anyone who's actually been to a bills game can appreciated their cheerleaders. college coeds by day, strippers by night, and nfl cheerleaders on sundays. good combos.
Disagree... they don't have an OL and that's why they can't do much on O... and on D they don't have an identity. With a normal off-season they might have turned themselves into a 7-9 team but with the lock-out shit going on + a tough division I'm not sure they'll get there next year.
Jets cheapest season ticket: $950 Bills cheapest season ticket: $351 Wanna sit lower level between the 40 yard lines? Jets: $1550 PLUS 40,000$ PSL Bills: $720 no PSL IDK guys I know they suck but I think I'd rather be a Bills fan? /Jets STH so I am kidding, but at least they do not need to sell their kidneys to go to games.
Here's my take on the Bills...they've never really seemed like fierce rivals (even in the 90's), yet somehow we have a losing record to them. I find that inexplicable, tbh. I feel "kinda" sorry for them, but we aren't exactly rolling in the riches either so my sympathy is tempered. To answer the OP's question, hell no. I would much rather say we won one than have none. That being said, I agree with many of the posts here concerning the Phins and Bills. I think Fitz is the real deal and Henne is a bumbling twat. The rub is that the Dolphins will probably have one of the best O-lines in the game this year while the Bills will still have one of the worst.
