A pro-sanchez article by Carruci on nfl.com http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...chez-an-undervalued-commodity-in-jets-success
What?!?! But the other article says he sucks! I am confused... But seriously, the article makes some good points about the 4th Q comebacks and the playoffs. It's good to see him get some recognition, but I honestly don't care what the media says about anything, since I actually watch the games and can make my own opinion of Mark.
The best part about the bold, is that neither does Mark. Remember last year when he told Keller that all the good they write about them in the papers is pure poison? Fucking awesome stuff. Can't wait to see Mark explode onto the scene this year.
i think i agree with this opinion. i know my QB cannot do the things that brady, manning, brees, rivers, etc can do but do i care - NO. he's got his own mojo with a 4-2 all road post season record and a few 4th quarter performances that allowed his team to win. at his age and with a defensive guru as head coach, what NFL fan wouldn't want this going forward. jil
I'm going sort of off topic here, but this is a point I think a good majority of TGG needs to understand (of course many members already know this, but a good portion does not) This article praises Sanchez and was posted here a few days ago and only received a handful of replies. Some no name "scout" wrote a negative article on Sanchez that is also posted on this forum and that thread received 5 or so pages of replies. A lot of "reporters" just post shit up to get page views. If the point they are trying to make in their "blog" is retarded enough, they have an outside shot of making a name for themselves.
Come on. That article in insubstantial fluff. Nobody likes Sanchez more than I do, but let's not pretend that piece has any objective value whatsoever.
All I care about is wins. Sanchez wins regular season games and playoff games. Sanchez brought the team from behind numerous times last season. What difference does QB ratings and completion % percentage mean in a loss? Sanchez is a big game quarterback who plays best when the game is on the line. If the so-called experts don't or can't figure that out, then they should turn in their press passes and join some of us in paying for their tickets.
