It's not too late to order extra Section hats, fellas... $20 a pop. Just call the 1 (800) 469-JETS number and hit "2" in the que. They take your credit card over the phone and you're done. They said the hats will be arriving with the ticket package. When I asked when that would be, he said "sometime in July." That's the best answer i could get for now.
P/S: Ask for an email confirmation. The order won't show on your account. They sent me one immediately.
I happened to speak to them yesterday about this. We ordered 3 hats. The free one and two others. When I asked if tickets would go out in July as usual, he said that it's possible that they think so but they could be mailed as late as early August. I also asked if they would be allowing any of us who changed seats to go see our new locations and he said he thinks they will and recommended that we call back in a month or so.
I hope this is so but past experience with what they say tells me to believe it when I see it. The only reason they did the original "Meet And Greet Your Seats" campaign was to use the opportunity to sell the cockamamie PSLs. It was THE ONLY reason. And it worked. Many UD guys were so disillusioned that day that they sat down with their "rep" and signed up for a PSL. My "rep" that day was a newbie who was assigned to me and I was immediately informed that neither the escalators nor the elevators were "working" that day, so he WALKED me all the way up to the nosebleeds. "I sense you're not completely happy with your new seats," he says, when I finally get up there completely out of breath. "Well, they are a little high," I said. So he marches me downstairs to a closing booth and trapses back and forth to his office, offering me sedat selections in the PSL sections. I never once got to look a a screen for what's available. I knew right then and there I was being fucked again, so I left without committing to his cockamamie PSLs. But the point I'm trying to make is, it was all about castigating and impugning Upper Deck views and using the day to try to move UD guys into their PSLs. So now, am I expected to believe that now, out of the kindness of their hearts, they're going to allow us to take another tour of the stadium just so we can bitch a little more about where our seats are? And they're going to PAY "reps" to do this... march around answering disgruntled questions from guys in Row 22 about "What's available in some lower rows?" I highly doubt it, but then again I have been one of the chief disbelievers all along and that's just me. Or is it?
I honestly think this is a fukin sham. I have 2 seats. I should get 2 hats. Oh, the seats are under 1 person so we get 1 hat? Bullshit! So if We split the seats up we get 2 hats? Fukin SHAM! Hey Woody, how about you give all PSL seats a hat instead of gouging the people in this economy ya bitch!
WORST thing to ever happen for the JETS. No forsight by the people in charge of the project, supplier was a hump. . . .bad bad idea with emailing to get a pre-order or idea of amount they would need. Waited forever for the extra hats, horrible customer service on this.
