I'm loving his attitude, his whole approach to this situation right now is great. I have no doubt that we'll be signing him longterm.

If I were a Lions fan the thought of B-EZ lining up with Megatron would be pretty sick.

yeah, if the Jets dont work out for Braylon, I don't think he would mind going home to play.

Going home as in back to his hometown Detroit? I don't think that happens. They're already loaded with weapons, especially after drafting Leshoure and Young. Any money they're spending during FA goes to defense, and a corner in particular.

If the Lions get Aso they will be a force next year, a scary one at that.

I don't think they'll have the money for Aso unless they can rework Stafford. He counts for a crazy amount against the cap this season. Of course, we have no real idea until we see a real cap.

Obviously I'm a Jet Die-hard but as a hardcore NFL fan in general it's pretty exciting to see the maturation process of the Lions entire organization.

Yeah, it's really the first time that they're moving whole heartedly on the right path in my lifetime. I used to get so frustrated with them in the 90s, watching Barry Sanders waste himself on a team that reached the playoffs on his back and then had to put the ball in the hands of Erik Kramer or Scott Mitchell when they reached the playoffs.

I was at the Jets-Lions game last season, and I was amazed at how jaded the fanbase has become. Great fans, but they just don't seem to give a shit anymore. The atmosphere felt more like a Tigers game in April than an NFL football game. I'm glad that they have something to be excited about. Too bad they picked up a QB made out of glass.

this all could be a ploy since Braylon has off the field baggage... Until he signs that elusive back end contract will I believe he is sincere...

So far you sound paranoid and like a beaten down, troll like SOJF.

Do you honestly follow Braylon and the Jets to the extent of a "die-hard"? It's no BS, he's at JETS West Camp now with NO JETS contract.

He's there because he loves the team and more importantly IMO, Sanchez. Braylon gains nothing money wise by saying he'll give a discount if he plans on not doing so.

Meanwhile, Holmes is doing Reebok photo-shoots.

I would keep Braylon over Santonio any day of the week. Santonio is the better wr but it is easier to replace small shifty wrs than huge fast and physical receivers like Braylon.

I would really be disappointed if we didn't resign Braylon.

I've heard this statement made every year for the past 5-6 seasons. The Lions will be dung in the NFC North again.

Ha, everyone knows the Lions are headed in the right direction. If the Glass QB can stay healthy they'll make the playoffs this year.

Eh I just dont know, I love what the Lions are doing, but they need more. I want to see more lineman drafted for them and get a CB this or next year next to Houston. After that they are a solid team but I just dont see, even if Stafford stays healthy, they can beat out the Saints, Bears, Giants, Cowboys, and the Bucs for those 2 Wildcard spots. In a few years though, I can see it for sure.

Really like Braylon, I think he was really good last year but I think there is very little chance they sign him. The money just does not add. He won't take a one year deal and why should he? If you sign Braylon to a long term deal you have to sign Holmes to a long term deal.Anyone think Holmes will be happy with Braylon making 7 million per year and Holmes making 3 million. Don't see it. When Braylon moves on, Keller's role increases. I think the lets would like to get Cumberland and Patrick Turner more involved.

I would rather spend the money on Braylon than get Cumberland and Turner involved. No question about it. Braylon played himself into a very decent contract last year and is going into this offseason saying and doing all the right things to get that contract. I think he would be willing to take $5-6 million to stay where he wants to be. I would rather lose Holmes if he's commanding any more than what Braylon is making.

I'd rather resign Braylon and if we can't keep Holmes sign Lance Moore, the poor man's Holmes.

^ lance moore is a slot wr right? i would love to sign braylon, let holmes walk, and sign lance moore.

but lance moore did major damage last year, and had an outstanding year. he will require something nutty.
