I don't know how much better you can expect to get out of your starter than 2 hits 2 walks 2 er in 7 ip.

1st and 3rd, no outs in the top of the 11th after a walk to Drew and a single by Pedroia. A-Gone coming up. Gonzalez hits an RBI double! Thompson for Anaheim struck out the side in the 10th, but is getting hit hard in the 11th.
Blown call, as Pedroia was well out of the baseline by third base to avoid the tag, but the umpire failed to call it. Bases loaded for Lowrie, who can blow this game open with a hit.
He's always been that way, but when he's on, he is fun to watch and virtually unhittable as we have seen the last two games.
Why does Francona refuse to let pitchers go for the complete game? No reason for Daisuke to come out last night, and even less reason for Bard to pitch. I love Francona, but sometimes he makes some weird decisions.
HUGE win tonight. Coming off a sweep in New York, a loss tonight would have killed all the momentum they have finally built. Instead, they pull off one of those kinds of wins that can really jump start a team. Seems like they have FINALLY turned the corner. Plus Lackey is on the DL now so that gets rid of an automatic loss every fifth day.
Actually, he's hitting .298 in May. The biggest issue is Lackey, but we have a couple weeks until we see that ugly bastard again.
Doesn't matter to me. I'm going to be angry and stay angry about the first two weeks of April 2011, and everyone who sucked the life out of them, until probably July. Maybe even August. Unless or until he does something spectacular to distract me from my lingering bad attitude.
