Meh. I don't want to draft a RT until Ducasse gets a shot at his natural position.

I have complete confidence in Vlad as an offensive lineman too but If Carimi was there I see it almost as a Kyle Wilson type scenario where there are other needs but being able to draft a day one starter is very enticing and it still doesnt make us give up on Vlad. He can be groomed to become Moores replacement next season. Id rather draft a pass rusher but Id have zero problem with Carimi.

I saw that too. Strange, because when I watch him play, he looks like a top 10 pick. If Paea was there at 30, I'd love to have him.

They also didn't have Clayborn in the first round-- interesting.

Some NFL scout quoted in the PFW draft guide referred to Clayborn as "the one-armed asskicker"

Why does everyone assume we cut Moore in 2012? He'll be 32, but he's still effective in the run game. Much more likely he gets restructured and Vlad gears up for RT.

And it's only a Wilson situation when we start playing in a lot of 3 tackle formations.

What I meant by Wilson situation was a player who is ranked in the top 20 and expected to go around there but falls and provides exceptional value. Now I'm not saying I don't like Moore but him and Vlad (if Carimi was drafted) provide insurance at the RG spot and Moore gives us a trading asset for the future to gather something like a 3rd when we see him wearing down in a feww years and sell him to a team that is desperate.

I'm not saying i want to draft Carimi over everyone but he provides young blood to an already solid line. Protecting Sanchez and establishing the run is extremely important with the cailber of defense we have. A line of DBrick ,Slauson, Mangold, Moore, and Carimi is one hell of a strong young line and after Moore is gone or starts to fall off a bit Vlad can help the line stay consistent and young.

Why the fuck did you put Watt on there as a possibility? Even Liuget's a stretch. And I'd put Ayers over Reed. I'd probably go Ayers, Liuget, Heyward, Reed, Taylor...although again, Liuget's a stretch to be available.

    lol....wut?!

If there's a run on QBs in the first round....one of the DL players is certainly going to drop. That's what I'm hoping for.

More QB hype that is unfounded.

In the past 6 years there haven't been more than 3 QBs drafted in the first round. To be more specific, only in 2006 and 2009 were there 3 taken in the first round, every other year there were only 2.

In what is probably the worst QB class in a decade, people are expecting 4, maybe 5 qb's to go in the first? No fucking way. WRs and RBs may rise into RD1, but QBs.. can't see it.
