Comp Picks Delayed.

    Comp picks are usually announced at the The NFL meetings, which are going on now.

    Looks like the picks won't be announced for at least another week, if not longer.

    One reason I have TGG's 7 Rd draft late March, is so I can include the Comp Picks.

    Our 7 Rd draft will not have any comp picks this year, the draft starts this Sat, I will not add them once our mock is in progress.

    I meant to ask, arent comp picks related to free agents lost, which obviously can't happen if there is no free agency

    Compensatory picks expected next week

    ReutersJust like the Week 1 schedule, compensatory picks are not expected to be announced this week at the league’s owners meetings as they typically are.

    Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com first reported the picks are expected to be announced a later date.

    A league spokesman indicated to PFT it’s believed the picks will be ready next week. At that point, the league can announce the entire draft order.

    Guys I'm disappointed we won't have comp picks, but this CBA situation is screwing everything.

    Comp picks will be awarded, but delayed by all this CBA bullshit.

    Usually this Monday (today) in March the comp picks are awarded.

    IMO, doubtful, we didn't lose more players than we gained.

    Comp picks are awarded based on the quality of FAs lost vs the quality of FAs gained. No one knows the full and actual metric, but it's based on a combination of contract value, playing time, and productivity. Given that we were limited by the Final Eight rules last season and went tit for tat on FA acquisitions, we won't be seeing any comp picks.

    it's hard to say what the comp picks will look like once the CBA is finalized. Jets should have at least one, but who knows.

    I thought it had something to do with playing with toilet paper. (WW85 deleted my earlier post in this thread. Not sure why the TPPLAYER33 post stayed, but whatever.)

    Comp picks will be up shortly. As expected, the Jets did not receive any.

    I'm done adding Rounds 3 & 4...had to adjust every draft#.......will finish 5,6 & 7 by the end of this weekend.
