I'm equally happy for myself in that I made the correct decision and thankfully one that I can afford to move out of the Upper Deck, row 8 20 yard line seats that I had originally selected down to high row LSL seats. Loved every minute of the great close up view of the game in 2010 and look forward to doing so for as long as I can (until I am too old, weak and decrepit for the trip) hopefully that isn't 2012
You are ohhhhhhhhh so correct sg3 I am thrilled that I did not purchase a PSL and I am very happy that I was able to walk away from a commitment to the Jets without owing them a dime. :jets:
Just tried to Renew Well, that was unpleasant. I called the rep they gave me. She is out of the office for a week. Nice timing. I used the chat feature on the renewal note. I had one objective - to move my six seats together. I have 4 + 2 in upper prime, one section apart. (The four have the better location.) I had the first four since 1984 and got the other two last year when they called and offered them to me. I chatted with a rep and told him that I was ready to renew, but only if I could move the six tickets closer together. They don't have to be adjacent, just close. He told me that I would need to renew the way they were today and put my name on a wait list. I told him that I didn't want to renew all six in the current configuration, but only if they were closer together. Again, he said the only way to get on the wait list was to renew today's configuration and hope for the best. No guarantees. I asked about the criteria for the wait list (seniority? location?) and he said it would go in order of when you got on the wait list. But, you have to renew before you can go on the wait list. A real Catch 22. So, after a 40 minute text chat, I either have to renew all six, in two sections, and hope for the wait list, or..... Cancel the two, renew my four. I'm at a slight disadvantage in that I'm only willing to cancel two, not all six tickets, so it weakened my bargaining power a little. I let him know how unappreciated us upper level fans feel after issues such as parking, restrooms, height/distance to field, escalators, and much higher prices. Obviously, it fell on deaf ears. I think my next step is to wait a day or so and call the 800 number and try with someone else. Anyone have a better idea?
Buy yourself a new and bigger flatscreen TV with complete home theater setup every year until the day you die. Each year, increase the size of the TV by a minimum of 5 inches. It will still cost you less than this dog and pony show.
would you like me to call for you??? ill pretend im your Dad and your sick and cant go to school. then i will demand the heavens for you and settle for nothing less. come on guys we have been fighting this for 3 years now.grab them by the throat and threaten with cancellations.keep fighting
i have to agree, if you are willing to part with the 2 and keep the 4 then tell them to scratch on the 2 unless they meet what you want.
Anyone else worried the Jets are going to do another fuckjob on us with the parking? This time make us all pay for orange and then say they are sold out of yellow so they can re-sell at higher prices on ticketexchange?
FYI I was contacted again by the ticket office--they asked if I would "reconsider walking at this time and at least wait until the REP contacts me and see what I am offered, if I do not like the offer--then walk at that time" ---and altough I am pretty disheartened by this whole fiasco it can't do any harm to listen to what they have to say. In other news my cousin who has upper endzone seats is GONE--walking away. Same goes for my buddy with 4 in 343----he does not care what they offer he is gone.

Add these: Section 342, Row 16, Seats 5,6,7,8 Section 335, Row 9, Seats 1,2,3,4 (Aisle) The second set is really not that bad. You are right on the aisle and next to the stairs that goes down to the concourse. It was always loaded wit opposing teams though in the rows ahead of me. Really obnoxious.
My 3 seats are in 307 row 16 (I have seniority since 96) old section 105. Last Year after they lowered the PSL's to 2500, I called and asked to relocate my seats after I heard and assumed that new Upper Levels were available. I was told "nothing was available, but we will put you on the relocation list". My sales rep was Nick. So, I kept what I had. On Saturday, I called again and said that I want to relocate. I am looking to get into Upper Prime or lower row anywhere. I Was told nothing is available. The persons name was GUY. He said theat they would be calling people after the process has started in two to three weeks for people that were on the "relocation list". I told him that if he wants to sell me a PSL anywhere else in the Stadium for 1000 bucks that I would pay in full right now. He said that is not possible. I told him why would I take my seats in 307 when I can get better seats on the internet for each game at the same if not a lower price. Bottom line he said I have to wait the two weeks or so to get a call. About a half hour later and spoke to the same person, I called and gave some seat locations that were on this thread. He again told me me NOTHING was available and I should wait for a call in a few weeks.
Add me to the abandon list: 341 row 16 - 3 seats. 1987 seniority..called and the director of ticket sale blew me off..I am done
