    Yes the often injured Clinton Portis was cut by the Redskins today. Love the way he blocks, has lost a few steps, and probably wants to win a ring...Nice three headed monster with Greene, LT, and Portis. Joe McKnight is still another year away and is great INS policy WHEN one of these three gets injured.

    Well Holmes is retired and been out of the NFL for 3 years....that a bit of a stretch buddy...nice try though

    Portis does not fit the Jets at all. He is lazy and doesn't give 100% ever. The Jets won't even look at him.

    hes lazy and dosent give 100%? Watch some football bro; the guy is the otherside of lazy. He played with a torn groin, and with legit concussion side effects. Show me better back at picking up a blitz and running in a zone blocking scheme. Yes he has lost a few steps but will come cheap and would love to play for REX. It may not happen but man he WOULD be a GREAT fit with the Jets. Vet leader

    You watch some football. I have been to Redskins camp every year since Portis arrived. He is lazy. No one can deny that. Shanahan does not like players who don't give it 100%, so everyone knew Portis wouldn't remain for long. He is not a veteran leader type of guy either. Maybe you are his agent or something.

    can we stay away from old RBs please ... TJ, LT, now Portis?

    Portis is more broken down then LT at this point, I'd rather keep LT
