Damn man, I dont know if its the new server interfering with folks or just a coincidence but this is one of the slowest days on TGG in a LONG time. Barely any posts or any responses along with about 30-34 members online.
I've had trouble connecting to the site entirely, had slow reaction earlier in the day but now it seems to be fine.
Whats up with the low amount of posters on though? I mean we have at least between 50-75 on a slow day, i know its the off-season but im surprised at only 32 on the whole board.
I thought the off day for people would be more of a reason for people to come on and post as much random bullshit as possible, guess not haha. And why Thursday? the NBA trade deadline or something? If so that should be a massacre in the Bullshit forum (most likely)
Shit man. The DTs were getting bad and I thought fax alcoholism was rough. Digging the improvements Petro. Thanks again for having such a bad ass site.
nah, one of the biggest reasons for message board popularity is people now wanting to do work at work hahah
the amount of time it takes for the new IP address to propagate varies between different ISPs, locations, etc., which is the reason why some people are having problems or can't access the site at all. It will be fine in a couple of days.
I still only get through on my BB Torch, my home computer can't find the board. But the strange thing about that is, my Torch is using the wi-fi in my house to communicate. So why is it working when it and the PC are sharing the same connection? Strange stuff, hope it comes back soon on the computer.
you have any proxy settings on the tower? i'm not a network guy by any stretch of the imagination... but if one machine on the network can and another can't, i don't think its propagation of IPs, i could be way wrong though.
I turned off all connections on the phone except wi-fi and it still loaded the board. But still nothing on the PC on any browser. I don't have any proxy settings. Kind of hard to blame the ISP for it, I don't know what to think, other than give it a few days, like Petro said.
Do you use a APP to get on? Different DNS servers take time to resolve to a new IP as Petro said. So if you are using a APP it connects differently then your pc would. If you're not, delete your browsing history, if that doesn't work, open a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter. Open a command prompt in Vista or later just by typing cmd in the start menu, in earlier versions go to run, type cmd and hit enter.
I am having the same issue Hiker is. The Andriod logs on but the work computer I normally use cant find the site. Really hate typing on the Android.
