    In his defense, the two guys ahead of him on the depth chart are Dwight Freeny and Robert Mathis, nobody expected him to see the field this year.

    In no one's defense, Jerry Hughes sucks and he was terribly overrated as a 3-4 OLB.

    The midsummer crime spree continues in the NFL.

    According to the folks at WFAA in Dallas, two more players — a current Colt and a former Cowboy — were arrested Saturday night at The Bank nightclub for public intoxication.

    The names have not yet been disclosed.

    Inevitably, they will be.

    UPDATE: Per WFAA’s updated link, they are Colts defensive end Jerry Hughes and former Cowboys linebacker Stephen Hodges. TCU defensive tackle Cory Grant also was arrested for public intoxication.

    In hindsight, I had to lol. There were many valid arguments against JPP being a good NFL player at the time of the Draft, but the kid's a beast now.
