Found this video on youtube(in it's entirety) and thought why not post it on TGG? For the few who havent seen this game, or for the many who have...always a great game to watch.
I was 12 at the time and went to bed when the Jets were down big. Still remember the shock of my dad waking me up for school by saying the Jets won last night.
I was 10 at the time, and remember trying to sleep, and then listening to my parents jumping around and clapping and yelling for joy.. BTW whoever gets it on a diff site, plz post the link, thank you.
You can get this on DVD as part of "The NY Jets: The Complete History." http://www.amazon.com/NFL-History-New-York-Jets/dp/B000PY52DQ
Hah. Ed Yarnell right beside Al Groh. Despite the turnover in the Jes organization since 1997, Yarnell remains.
Tried to let the download run overnight but it got interrupted. Started again when I woke up and of course my connection is running at a snail's pace, about 1/4 as fast as it should be.
I used the "youtubedownloaded" i pulled of CNET's download.com. It cam down in about an hour. I got saved on my network NAS. Archived next to my copies of HK,
i was also 10. went to sleep just before the 4th Q. woke up and saw the ESPN bottom line said jets won 40-37. i was stunned.
Ah love to C these kind of posts from all the newbie fans on this board. NooooooooooooooW if like me you have a copy of the original broadcast of SB3 including all the commercials aired U R onto something because in the end that Miami game meant NOTHING to the NYJs since they did not win the SB that year but for sure they won SB#3 to become World Champions of the FB world for the 69 season :jets:
