Wright can hit a walk off double against Mariano Rivera but the pressure of the Home Run Derby is getting to him... Yeah, sure.
are those yellow monstrosities the actual AS jerseys? i turned this on for about 2 minutes before Berman's shrieking convinced me to shut it off.
It actually stops being I-95 at around Exit 8, and then I-95 magically reappears at the intersection with US 1 near Trenton (they never built the spur between the Turnpike and there). It then crosses into Pennsylvania and becomes the Delaware Expressway, going into Philadelphia and south. So, except for about a 10 mile gap, I-95 does run from NY to Philly. Not that it really matters or anything. BTW, I'm glad that Wright didn't win, so he doesn't succumb to the Abreu HR Derby Curse.
To all the Sportswriters and People who call this stupid they can kiss Monkey Nuts. All the smiles on the kids faces, The Charitable Donations, The Home Given away, The pure fun for Fun sake. That get's so lost because of the big $$$ they make. I guess some people just enjoy making everything miserable when they call it stupid or dumb. Well, I hope they didn't watch because it was Fun.
Howard wins the derby, Wright makes into the final round, a fan gets 500 points for their master card, and two hillbillies get a house. Everybody is happy.
I said this in the all star starters thread this morning, and have been saying it for the past week. I knew Howard was going to take it.
Did anyone else feel like punching Berman in the face everytime he pronounced "Big Papi" as Big PAPPY?
 And I'm latino! I guess I'm used to it. Yesterday ESPN had audio Issues during the Astros/Cards game. The ESPN Deportes guys took over for an inning, well it turned out to be an exciting inning and it sounded awesome. I was LMAO.
