LOL, point taken, sorry, BUT that Pats have knocked us out several times and we lost to the suckboys in a SB, so that does deserve a "little" bit of sympathy, even just 1/4 of an ounce. At least I got no hate for GB...YET.
God that sucks seeing it in print. SD, NE x2 and I can't remember the other, Broncos? I gotta look that up. When you get in your 40s, your memory is shit.
Yep, Denver. SD '94 and NE '01 were the 2 worst I think. Those were games you could have and should have won but I think Den '97 and NE '04 were better than Pitt despite Pitt beating them in the reg season.
Of course but they went through all those losses when they "only" had 4 and thier last SB was in the 70s. Now 5 years later they are working on #7 but when they lost to NE in '04 they hadn't won a SB since '79. Not quite 42 years but still a pretty long time.
It's more than allowed!!!!! But, for some of us, rehashing the game to a Steeler fan is going to bring up some points you might not agree with or like.. If me saying the last Steeler opponent didn't take advantage of a weak OL that lost their leader offends you then sorry..... Not trying to hurt your feelings at all... Talking about the Strengths of one team (GB Passing game) and the weaknesses of another which IMO are HUGE right now (OL and Secondary) IS FOOTBALL TALK to me... Sorry again, stick around!!!! I really didn't think I was being radical here. Wasn't looking to hurt or bolster feelings here..lol!
The Steelers can say what they want. They won. But the Steeler Nation was collectively shitting a brick in the 4th qtr. of the AFCCG. The Jets spotted them 24 pts. and still made it a game. That's my silver lining anyway.
It's all cool. Hell, if you can't bash the "enemy", who can you bash, lol? I still can't watch any of our losses against the Pats, just too realistic to come to terms we may never beat that team. And yes, the Steelers huge weakness is the secondary, o-line isn't so much a concern and here's why...they were actually worse believe it or not in 2008, and they showed up when necessary. Now I know they're patchwork right now and working for the Steelers docs, I don't know why Pouncey is thinking he's playing and that's news to me, but Leghursky can do better than he did against the Jets because he's had time to prepare. Rodgers had a little time to "cool" off (hopefully) and who knows, the Steelers seem to play better when playing with a chip on their shoulder like they have something to prove. I'm making no bets or predictions on this one. Like I said, they've already exceeded my expectations for this season so let the chips fall where they may.
Denver and NE WERE the better teams and had the better quarterbacks. The one that stung was losing to San Diego in '94. That team was nowhere as good as the Steelers, but the Steelers just didn't show up to play their game that day.
We almost pulled off the comback of a century. They played like laid back stoners in the 2nd half, Take your W and shut the fuck up.
Brady got knocked out early though, NE in '01 beat you w/ STs. The only positive about the SD game was it saved you a bad SB loss as SF would have crushed Pitt- maybe not as bad as they crushed SD but it wouldn't have been close.
you going to lose sunday so make sure use your terrible towel to wipe your ass after the game or if you prefer i will have the huggies waiting for you here....
I don't mind teams talking crap but have the guts to do it before hand rather than wait to see the results.
No real Mexican would ever drink that piss. There are much better Mexican beers. Here's a suggestion, don't call someone dumb if you can't spell.
Sure, champ, but not while I was in the process of calling someone else's intelligence into question on an internet message board. And you really didn't need the 8 question marks, one would have been fine.
