I had the opportunity to watch a few Nebraska games this season(I didn't have a TV for most of it, shut up) and I really like this guy. He'd be a great compliment to Jim Leonhard. I doubt we're going to get anything serviceable out of O'Connell or the drug addict Mormon.
I know people are high on Ryan Kerrigan but he's just a Chris Long clone to me who alot of posters on this board thought would be a great player by now and he has been a very average player. BTW I like Hagg and think he will be a player.
Wow, that is one of the most incorrect posts I have ever seen. 1. That's racist. Kerrigan is Chris Long? Why not Aaron Kampmann? Or Brett Keisel? Maybe Dave Tollefson? Bryce Paup? All the same player. 2. Kerrigan is so completely different than Long it's not even funny. 3. Chris Long was pretty damn good last season.
I really would have liked to have gotten Christian Ballard with that 2nd rounder, luckily for my mindset he'll probably be gone by that spot anyway. Ballard and Jordan are making this a scary good 34 DE class.
Shep has never had many injuries as far as I know, he has been starting every game for the past three seasons. the thing about Shep is he is a very smart player but he just has some bad games. He has trouble getting off of blocks which cant happen in the next level

I just wish we had Chris Long. He could have been the next Vrabel. His change of direction standing up is beautiful. He would have loved playing here. Goddammit. I had a man crush on Long that year. Him and Matt Ryan were my top picks.... and then Vernon Gholston.... ugh.
