Ha Ha. I read at least eight post saying how the Steelers would of lost to the Pats*. They were all from Jets fan. Who the hell cares that the Steelers don't match up as well to the Pats* as they do to the Jets I guess. If you guys would of won the game I would of given you props, but you guys cry because you lost to the Steelers. Look to within your organization to see where your problems lie. I'm sorry, but a team and it's fans that talk about Super Bowl's in August and in to the playoffs, deserve all the "classy" come backs. You had it coming to you. It's football for crying out loud. What's with these holier than thou fan bases that are so against trash talking? Yes, let's be as nice as possible to each other for the media and not say much then proceed to the football field where it's a sport similar to war in theory and try to dismantle each other. I'm sorry but this isn't golf. Some people need to be more realistic about what goes on in this sport. So a coach and some players want to say in public what almost every team says in private and on the field, big deal. For such a brutal sport, some people can be such pussies.

Stuffing Bettis on a 4th and 1 definitely isn't due to cheating, but cheating can be what put your team in a close game for that situation to even be possible. I'm not saying that's the case and i don't make as big of a deal about spy gate like a lot of people do, because there was probably signal and play stealing since the beginning of football. What cheating can do is enhance the chances of winning to what's already a team good enough to win. Hope i made sense there, Lol.
I understand that and maybe in a close contest that could be an edge but the 2004 championship game was not close. It's just an excuse because god forbid another team could be better then yours. As if it's inconceivable that the Steelers could lose any other way. After that 4 and 1 stop, Brady uses the play action to bring Polomalu in a few steps while Branch runs by him. TD and the Patriots never look back. Polomalu is a great safety but he makes mistakes and he bit on the play action. He did this year too against the Patriots and the result was big gain. It wasn't any taping it was Polomalu biting on the play action. It happens, it's football, not voodoo. The Patriots have been playing the Steelers for a while now and do match up well against their zone blitz. Would the Patriots have won if they had played again? Very possible but anything can happen. Hey I thought the Patriots had the advantage over the Jets too. :sad:

Dude - Rex Ryan preached confidence in his football team all year and spoke of the goal to win a Super Bowl. I don't know ANY Jets fan who said we would win, however many of us knew we were capable of winning, hence our trip to the AFCCG. I am still not sure what other fan base's obsession with Rex's comments comes from. Its a different style, you don't have to like it, but we do, and so do players - get over it! Rex just says what every other coach would want to say if they had the balls. Unless your BB with a different style, that is how he does shit, so be it - it works! Rex has shit working too, so for now its all good. Same with Tomlin, you think Tomlin did not believe his team could win the SB in training camp this year? You bet your ass he did - so is he a better person/coach/man for not saying it? If you believe that then fine - but I don't, its just different styles. football is a game of matchups. I'm never worried when we play the pats but I do get worried when we play the steelers etc.

I would like to see our offense to be able to game plan like the D had been doing toward the end of the year. The Pats kill Pitt with the short passing game, and we can do the same. I expect Mr.Rodgers to tear them a new black and yellow asshole in the SB. Then the new asshole will register over here and start talking shit.
GB is taking down Pitts, but I would like to say that we atleast lost to the SB champs. Eitherway, we should be playing GB... God, can't believe we came so close again.
