I never ever heard a YANKEES fan sound "jealous" about the METS when they are/were good. I guarantee, you take a poll and there are more YANKEES fans who'd root for the METS in a WS than the other way around. METS fans HATE the Yanks, YANKEES fans actually don't reall y give a shit about the METS... and please PLEASE stop equating any team JETS or GIANTS to the 27 time world champions...that's just ridiculous. Best way to shut butthurt giant fans up (and make some money) is just bet them that the Jets will go further in the playoffs than they will (for the 3rd straight year) next year. They can talk all the shit in the world they want, because they know the future of their team is devoid of all hope.

ever since the end of the game last night I've been dealing with these front running douchebag giants fans... christ the steeler fans I'm friends with have been gracious compared to these shit heads, it's like they've been saving up for the last 7-8 months... had to delete 10 facebook friends last night
That's not weird at all, Met fans (of which I'm one) are jealous of the Yankees and have never really had a true blood rival in their own league, yeah it was the Cubs for a while and then the Cardinals but they both switched divisions. Now it's the Braves and Phillies but both those are recent and both have kicked our hineys from pillar to post so even they're not true rivalries. Yankee fans get just as bad with the Red Sox - and vice versa - as we do with them though, trust me and until 2004 the Sox didn't win jack. And yeah the jealous Giant fans are annoying me too, I've had people comment on facebook gleeful over the Jet demise that I didn't even know were football fans lol. Well a couple of them are associated with Giants fans (dating them) so that's how that goes I suppose.
