Super bowl is in my blood, so I'll watch as always......much like last year, hopeful that those who knocked us out taste bitter defeat as well. let's go Packers! (I have to be careful with that, as my nephew is a huge Steelers fan)
Whether or not my team makes it I always watch it. The super bowl is another family get together, for me. I love it. The day the jets get there, it'll be that much more special.
Are you guys really going to be so depressed you can't watch the Super Bowl? Suck it up. Of course I'll watch it. ..and this. Why does our only option of yes have to be "ABSOLUTELY, GONNA BE A GREAT GAME" My answer is: Yes, because it's the Super Bowl.
of course Im gonna watch the superbowl. Everyone watches the fuckin superbowl-non sports fans watch teh SB. Why would I? Should I watch Murder she wrote instead?
I dont like either team, But being a Jets fan im used to watching 2 teams that I care nothing about duke it out in the SB lol... Im a fan of the sport though and this is our last taste of football for 7 months so ill be soakiing it all up!
Yeah, that's probably where I'm at. I won't be going to a SB party, I won't be rooting for a team, and I won't be pretending like I give a shit. I'll probably still watch, though.
Untrue. You were directing it at yourself. That was one of the most self-gratifying posts I've seen on here. You're a VERY knowledgeable poster, as evidenced by my vote in the awards this year, but sometimes you come off as a petulant know-it-all child. I should know. I used to be the same way, and still fall into it from time to time.
While I hate the STEELERS I watched them vs the CARDINALS because I was rooting for the Cards. The past 2 SB's had teams that I saw as "JETS like" in their history. CARDINALS & SAINTS So I watched... But now, Pitt v GB? pffft...I love Football almost to a point of obsession..Shit, SB Parties every year! yeah, I may take a peak but I can't remember a SB in my lifetime where I felt no interest so it's a weird feeling.
James Starks played for my alma mater, and we don't have that many players making noise in the NFL so I want him to get a ring.
may tune in for the score...but i fucking hate both teams. only way it could be worse is cowboys-pats
If you interpret "I won't be enjoying it" as "I won't care all that much what happens" this is pretty much my situation.
There will be many days ahead of us without any football, so of course I'll watch. The Probowl, on the other hand, I never watch that shit.
