This year, we get to talk about sucking in the first half and giving a valiant effort and almost pulling it off in the 2nd half. Imagine if we switched the 1st and 2nd half around. 19 points in the first half, 0 in the second for us. 0 points in the first half for them 24 in the second. It would have been a disaster. This board would have exploded. This team showed guts, they fought back when 90% of us thought the game was surely over. It felt like an embarrassment was surely upon us. But, they didn't fade out like past Jets teams had. Stop that third down pass and they have a chance to come back and win the game. The team was moving the ball, playing well, they just never had that last shot. It doesn't make the loss any better, it still sucks, but we should still feel proud of these NY Jets.
Sad that we gave no effort in the first half. If we gave even half we would be heading to Dallas right now. Another knife in the heart of a Jets fan.
The only way this game could have been worse is if the Jets plane got hijacked and flown to Cuba and the NFL got the Dolphins to play in the AFCCG as the Jets.
