Am I the only one who wants/expects to keep both Braylon and Santonio next season, and beyond? They've both proved their worth this season, and it will only make Mark that much more comfortable. Rhythm is everything for a QB and his offense.
Everyone WANTS to keep both. I just don't think it's going to happen. Willing to be pleasantly surprised, though. The team certainly needs to maintain and add to depth at the receiver position to keep Sanchez moving forward.
Nope, I want both back too, they each were clutch this year and I think they compliment each other well. I'm also not sure if Cotch is capable of being a solid #2 WR anymore; I love the guy, but I would see WR as a weakness if we only had him + one of the two FAs.
Only way it doesn't happen is if one or both of them get real $ hungry.. Holmes has the Resume 2 ask for big $.. But hey
Priority to me goes Braylon first, then Harris, then Santonio, then Cromartie. And Brad Smith should be a guaranteed re-sign.
This offseason is going to be a HUGE challenge for Tanny. Rex will help in keeping them and recruiting (players want to play here), but we are going to have to let a lot of good players go.
Harris will be re-signed first. They would have done it this past off season if it wasn't for those rules enacted b/c of the CBA. After that I REALLY hope Edwards and Holmes are re-signed...even if it means losing Cromartie.
I want both back too, and Cromartie, and Harris, and Smith, and everyone else, but we only have SO much money.
I'd like them both back. Unlike most people, I don't see signing Cromartie as a priority at all. I think Kyle Wilson has it, and even if he doesn't, I don't think Cromartie warrants the money I think he'll be demanding.
I would hope both would come back as long as they don't want to break the bank. Not sure honestly if there is anyone out there that would pay either of them big money long term. In my opinion Braylon is first priority based on the fact that he's a beast, he's tall, and he has a better repoire with Sanchez.
