When the schedule came out this year all the games later in the season where scheduled at 1:00 so they can have the big games in primetime. Anyone know how this is going to work?? I might pick up the nye game but I kinda of need to know what time it is before it I do it
Seven total games will be moved to Sunday night to be televised by NBC. The dates: 11/12 11/19 11/26 12/3 12/10 12/17 12/31 Game times will be announced 12 days in advance of the date.
hopefully we will get at least 1........i would love to have it when we kcik the shit out of the bills week 14 :buffaloblows:
Ahh youthful enthusiasm. I miss the days of blind faith and beginning each preseason with the belief that our team is the one destined for greatness
Also worth noting: NFL game broadcasts will be replayed on NFL Network the following Tuesday and Wednesday. Four games will be re-aired each week- 5:30 and 8:30 on Tuesdays and 5:30 and 8:30 on Wednesdays. Each Monday, NFL Network will announce which games will air on NFL Game Re-Airs. Halftime and other elements not critical to the outcome will be cut. To me, this is much, much better than the Game of the Week programs of the past three seasons. Those were unwatchable to me. I hate the narrator's voice and the production is too slick. Watching re-airs will be much more enjoyable. NFL Films was at its best from 1968-1985. I struggle with the current stuff. EDIT: While I'm on the subject... My favorite NFL Films moment can be found on "Saviors, Saints & Sinners: The Story of the 1980 NFL Season". The Billy Sims segment is gold. It begins with John Facenda narrating the line from my sig (Sims is pictured in my avatar; it's from his Heisman Trophy winning days). Monte Clark was shown standing on the sidelines with his eyes closed and looking sad. Then the scene was cut to Sims running onto the field during lineup introductions. I have watched this footage well over 500 times.
First time the NFL is doing this in its 87 year history. I know I'll be recording games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I'm sure they will be re-airing the best games of that weekend.
As much as I hate night games(especially Dec night games) I HOPE we get 1 as well b/c that will mean we are a good team and in contention.
At first, I had no idea what team was "nye". Then I figured out you meant New Year's Eve. I never saw somebody refer to December 31 as "nye" before. Anyway, the chances that both the Raiders and Jets will be good are remote. I betcha one of these games will be the Week 17 NBC game: Steelers at Bengals Dolphins at Colts Jaguars at Chiefs Falcons at Eagles Seahawks at Buccaneers Cardinals at Chargers Packers at Bears
