Woke up at 3:15 and could not go back to sleep. Maybe a nap before the GB-CHI game... stoked does not describe it.
This feels different than Denver or Indianapolis doesn't it? To me at least. Those games I wanted to win, thought if things went our way we could, but today I feel the Jets will win. This is the time. The Jets are the better team and playing better. They have to do it for 60 more minutes though.
I hear that loud and clear... been out of the office since December 17th and just returned on Friday to tons of work.... boss flying in from London today and asked me to be in the office for a meeting at 8am-10am Monday. It's his first trip here. Game kicks off at 7:30am Monday local time..... DOH! He's a kiwi and a big all blacks fan... my only hope is that I can appeal to his senses and tell him this is the most important game of my life thus far (despite the fact I'm not playing in it).
Can't wait!! Game should finish at 3am...then drive to airport at 6am for flight to Milan!! Fucking works schedule stinks at moment!!! Enjoy getting drunk all.....I will be on peppermint tea!! ( slightly gay I know!!)
Did not sleep a wink. Watched movies and played Madden and Fallout 3 all night. My son woke up doing the Jets chant and saying Go Mark Sanchez.
Couldn't sleep a wink last night. Held out till 7:40 am and bounded out of bed to celebrate Game Day. Extremely excited, been waiting 30 years for the New York Jets to get to the promised land. Let's do this. Go Jets!!!
I'm glad I've got a lot to do today before the NFC game starts. It would be an interminable wait if I were just sitting around. I've tried not get my expectations up (my dark heart can't stand another let down), but I can't lie.....it feels different this year. CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Off to church before beginning my 90-minute odyssesy to Wrigleyville. Will say some prayers and ask the Lord's forgiveness in advance for any sins I may committ!
