    2)-SuperBowl crowning of the NY JETS!

    3)-Pending NFL lockout.

    John Mara/Giants has also spoken out against it....Goodell has put a gag order on them, because if those 2 oldtimers come out against it, it KO's negotiating leverage.

    FWIW, I am against it too.

    Im in favor of destroying the 18 game season... But I will worry about "supporting the steelers" Monday morning when they are focused on preventing the 18 game season, while we are focused on preparing to win a super bowl.

    Get real. we're talking about 5 extra quarters, since Week3 preseason starters go full for 3 quarters.

    I'm not a season ticket holder, but if teams are going to force buyers to support the preseason, make it two games, and convert the last 5 quarters to meaningful games.
