I think I would. Cro has looked so hungry to finally break one. Do you think if the game is on the line and we need good field position (and brad hasn't done anything spectacular) we'll give it to cro?

Nothing spectacular? He scored one of the only TD's in the win over Pittsburgh. The first TD for the Jets in a month!

What I meant was if brad hasn't done anything spectacular in this game, possibly due to his nagging injury.

I think he's saying if Smith doesn't look like his usual self because of the injury would you put Cro back there on a kick late because Cro looks like he's ready to take one to the house. It's a very thoughtful post. I'd say yes.

Oh, Then i agree. You put your best player out there.

If Smith looks sloppy for any reason we have a back up. That your right, plays hungry.

I only want Smith back there if he is 100%, because Cro looks damn good returning kicks (though he sometimes does too much dancing, just hit the hole and go like Smith).

To be honest I'd rather have Smith IN FRONT of Cro blocking for him... before being the returner himself he was a BEAST.

But if, and only if, Smith recovered 100% from the injury I'm cool with him getting his job back... maybe he'll alternate with Cro.

No way. I trust our coaching staff enough that, if Brad Smith wasn't ready to make an impact this Sunday; he wouldn't be playing. Cromartie is too important to the success of our defense. We're only one game away from the SB... We cant afford an injury to Cromartie. I'm pumped about the return of Smith!

I feel like I'm the only one who likes the Wildcat, but I hope Smith returns to do that some more...

I'm sure Rex and Whestoff will put in Cro if Smith looks like he's pressing from the injury.

Heck they may even have them alternate just to mix it up.

If we are in need of a spark I can see them putting Cro in for a return to see what happens.

No choice here. Definitely Brad. I'm not knocking Cro; I'm glad he's a Jet. Smith simply has more experience and is better at it.

    Giggity!

That said I would rather us resign Cro over Brad Smith.

Both gives us a solid KR, one can play dominant corner, the other maybe 5-6 gimmick plays a game.

Just because Cro is faster doesn't mean he's a better return guy. He doesn't have the patience or vision Brad Smith has. If Smith is 100% he should be returning.

Glad to see B. Smith back at KR. Cro was the right choice for the replacement because he was the biggest threat at KR on the team aside from Smith, but Smith is the best KR on the team. There is no way I would rather have one of our most important starters returning kicks instead of our best KR.

    Pittsburgh delenda est.
