I think of Troy Polamalu as being a lot like a defensive version of Randy Moss when he was in his prime. They can be beaten on a lot of individual plays (because of over-aggressiveness in Polamalu's case and questionable work ethic in Moss's) but they can also change the game on literally any given snap. Ignore players like that at your own risk.

For what it's worth, the only defensive players that I'd rather have than Polamalu are Revis, Clay Matthews, and Patrick Willis. That's a pretty short fucking list.

No doubt when healthy is impact is huge, fact is he's not. He missed what could've been some game changing tackles vs the Ravens and didn't breakup one pass.

Last I read he wasn't even practicing and with their oline in shambles rosters spots are very valuable.

On that not Aaron Smith won't be active for our game.

Polamalu is a great player, but I'd rather have Ed Reed.

Either will you, Troy is playing like a shell of his former hair.

At least with Smith being ruled out you can put another TE at guard or tackle. lol

"You're FROM NJ and a Steeler fan??

How convenient for you. Are you a Cowboys fan when the Steelers aren't good?

Eagles fan I could understand, because of south Jersey but not the Steelers."

Distance has nothing to do with it. Plenty of Giants/Jets fans in places like Florida. Why should NY control what teams NJ fans root for, just because two teams jumped the river?

I like his commercials, but that's about it. He gets injured too much.

Troy only practices on Fridays. He has been doing that for most of the year. Same with Ward, Farrior and some of the other veterans.

Troy misses a few tackles every once in a while. Announcers always say, That's rare to see Troy miss like that but, it isn't. He makes enough to make you forget about the ones he misses. Announcers always said the same thing about Franco Harris fumbeling. I thought heard it too much

I was really glad the Jets didn't sign Farrior when we got him. Guy never quits Tim
