Unfortunately JT didn't practice today.........and given the hit he took on Sunday, I'm guessing he has a concussion.

Will be somewhat surprised if he plays this weekend.

Or they could be giving him rest for Sunday. JT has won his 1st two playoff games this year in his 14 year career. With a shot at the SB it's gonna take a Dancing With the Stars Reunion to keep him off the field. LT has had Wednesdays off all season.

F*ck Jason Taylor. I'll give him... mild appreciation. Partially because I still don't like him. I said it somewhere else, he's had a few good plays. But I don't think he's been worth the stink that was made about him overall.

He just came up huge in the Pats game... he gets plenty of appreciation from me.

True... he had some plays in there. I liked the coverage drop and hit on Welker. Anytime Welker gets hit I spontaneously giggle like that doughboy on TV.

The reason we got Taylor is because he owns Tom Brady. He has like 10 career sacks against him or something absurdly high like that. He's done his job. And yes, in the game, 2 of the sacks could easily have been his. That said, I still think he's a douche.

Two things that contributed mightily to the amazing passing defense last week:

    1. Brady couldn't stand getting hit. He's a completely different QB when he gets hit. He's not that tough.
    2. The first interception really rattled Brady. You could tell he just didn't want to throw another interception so he held the ball extra long or threw it away. The boy's got no guts because he wanted to protect his stats.

This week, we face a QB that doesn't suffer from these flaws. It's going to have to be a different gameplan entirely.

Let's hope so.......but the video sure looked like he was concussed, and personally I'll be surprised if he suits up on Sunday.

He was also getting a huge push for most of the game as part of the 3 and 4 man rush. He didn't put up stats for his effort but without it I doubt we are talking about how much of a beast Ellis is this week.

I still like Abyzmul's quote to a dolphins fan about JT from before Thomas gave him his 99.

Even though he did get his number, the rest could come true.

I would say Ben is a bit more mobile than Brady, too. Once you get him out of the pocket, Brady loses some of his shine, whereas Ben tends to make bigger plays. It probably would not hurt to go with a very similar game plan in how they used the DBs to flood the field.

He sat out today as he had concussion symptoms after the game on Sunday, but Rex just said in his press conference that JT passed the concussion tests today, and will be back at practice tomorrow, and ready to go Sunday.

I'm happy with what he's done. He's an old now, I didn't expect 12 sacks out of him anyway. What's funny is that in 12 seasons with the fish he didn't sniff the Super Bowl, one season with the Jets and he's 60 minutes away from it

I love the raw emotion that Jason Taylor brings to our defense. This guy wants it just as bad as anyone in the league, and he's also played with nothing but heart the entire season. I'm glad JT is getting some credit for his performance in the trenches during the Patriots game. He played his heart out for us. His veteran experience has been great for our defense. His experience alone is like having another head coach on the defensive side of the field. He understands the X's & O's of a defense to a 'T'.

If Jason Taylor wins a SB with the Jets & heads into the Hall Of Fame as a Jet; It would crush that Dolphins fan base. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Jason Taylor could have a monster game this Sunday. He can taste a trip to the SB, and with Roethlisberger holding the ball, & scrambling in and out of the pocket... JT could be ALL OVER #7 come Sunday.
