Southwest Refund Policy: http://www.southwest.com/html/customer-service/purchasing-and-refunds/refund-info-pol.html
SW "Business" and "Anytime Flights" are refundable. "Wanna Get Away" Flights are not. So here's the problem. With Business and Anytime Flights (which are running about $600 to Dallas), you can get up to 100% credit toward the new flight. But say you are going to Orlando and the new flight is only $400. They don't say how you can get back the $200.
when will most people get in if we win sun? I am planning to stay in the Crowne Plaza in Dallas Park/ Richardson from Fr - Mon.
I don't know about everyone else, but my wife and I will probably go down there maybe Thursday-Fri and stay 'till Monday. She's already okay with the time off of work. It's just a question of pulling the triggers at this point. It's a hell of a lot of money, but this is something I've got to do before I kick the bucket. It's been 42 fucking years for me, waiting for this. How can I NOT go? This is the ultimate reward for waiting all these God-awful, gut-wrenching, fucked-up years.
This is awful karma. I've seen people lose a lot of money buying tickets for a game with a team that isn't even in it yet. I don't want to go to the Super Bowl. I want to go to the game that takes us to the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh delenda est.
did you say this when in hard knocks said we where going to the super bowl? did you say this when rex signed the espn bus with soon to be super bowl champs??? dream big and secure a plan b/c once it becomes reality it is gonna be very hard to get airlines and accomodations especially being the 2nd team in. dont be ffraid to dream big. btw if you think its bad karma...get the fuck out.why even open the thread.
And I don't want to fuck the chick at the end of the bar. I want to be the guy who buys her the drinks to get her drunk so she fucks the guy sitting next to her at the end of the bar.
Does anyone anticipate staying in Dallas and renting a car/getting a taxi to the game? I'd be willing to go in on one of these options with someone as I'll probably be traveling alone.
And Jerry Jones will extort you once you get there with parking. The NBA all star game was something like $85 per car. Wouldn't be suprised to see $100+ for the Super Bowl, and you have no alternative but to pay up$$
I'm still waiting for a baby. Its looking more and more like he's not going to be here before the 30th. I'm not sure what I'm doing at this point.
Just from research I had done last year: Flight prices will rise and ticket prices will fall. Could there be a chance of ticket prices jumping? Possibly, but the Saints have some of the most dedicated fans out there and it did not create a price frenzy from what i saw. Hopefully I get chosen in the lottery ticket allotment. If not I'm sure more people will be trying to make money by selling theirs than making the trip out to dallas. Also genom, I might be interested in doing that but I'll wait until after the Jets game to pursue those options. I did purchase a flight at $275 with taxes, since it'll skyrocket soon I'm sure.
Southwest has dropped to $258 roundtrip leaving Saturday the 5th and returning Monday the 7th. Only on the "Wanna Get Away Flights". That's the easy part. But bankrolling my life to get a SB ticket is the issue. Looks like I'll be all over the radio next week trying to score a ticket if our beloved Jets make the game!
The "Wanna Get Away" flights are non-refundable. The two others they sell are refundable, but they're over $600 as of yesterday. Kinda steep.
Yeah, IF we win Sunday, I'll hope for a price fall. It's those 3 grand tickets look to be in areas where you're essentially watching the Jumbotron as it blocks the field. Jets or no, I'm not sure I can drop more than 10 grand on this game.
