The Patriots themselves have had 2 "made-for-tv" Super Bowl runs. Ring #1: Bledsoe goes down and the nobody back up takes the team to an unlikely Super Bowl win. vs. Giants: Go into the game 18-0, everyone in the world has their money on the Patriots and they get beat up. So who is this f*cking guy to use "made-for-tv" condescendingly?
I love this quote from Lowery " "Hopefully, because I feel like this is a better environment to be in and play football because there’s a lot of stress that goes into this job," Lowery said. "You want to be able to have some kind of outlet, and one outlet to have is being yourself. You don’t have to walk around with your arms at your side and stand straight and wear a suit everywhere. "It’s still a kid’s game." " You can definitely see it too. In this new age it will be tough for guys like Mangini, who may be a good coach but a GM/Owner will only put up with so much with a unproven winner.
"I totally disagree with people saying we’re trash talking," Pouha said. "We’re confident talkers more than we are talking trash." exactly
"There were the Super Bowl Shufflin’ Bears of 1985, a team whose defensive coordinator was Ryan’s father, Buddy. There were also the Dallas Cowboys of the 1990s, the renegade Raiders of the 1970s, the 1986 New York Mets, the NBA’s Bad Boy Pistons, and the stormy and scandalous Miami Hurricanes of the ’80s." Most people outside of the fans of these teams hated these guys but to be hated has to mean that you are kicking people's asses. Of all of them I think this team compares to those Miami teams under Johnson and Erickson. Confident, cocky, good and hated by many with a very likable QB. A lot pf people hated those Hurricane teams but who hated Vinny? Or Kosar or Gino? Throw in the off the field stuff and there better be a book written on this team when we win the Super Bowl.
