I've checked out quite a few Jet forums over the last year or so, and I have to say that all-in-all this is my favorite out of the bunch. However, it seems as if SOJ mentality runs prevalent here. Is it just me or is this place much more SOJish than other fansites?
I don't visit any other fan forums but here so I can't compare. However in the real world, its usually the old timers calling out SOJ. E.G. Folk's miss vs Patsies and Weather's not so good punt.
It's a Jets forum. Ever hang around with Jets fans for longer than an hour before? It's like suicide hotline on steroids meets John Wayne Gacy............All in all, it actually isn't too bad.
Well, I've been a long time reader of all 3 sites since the Herm days, and to be honest... All 3 Jet sites have great Jet posters. All 3 have fans who will scream SOJ until the day we win a SB, and all 3 sites have posters who bring a lot to the table. When I joined TGG as a poster, I like to believe I made an educated choice on why I decided to post here, instead of elsewhere. Just from years of experience as a reader, I feel that TGG gives you the best bang for your buck. You don't see a lot of personal attacks going on, you don't see a lot of threads getting hijacked with off topic trash and for the most part... TGG has football talk with great insight. My thoughts on JI aren't the same. JI has too much traffic, with not enough football talk. The owner of JI allows Patriot trolls to ruin every thread. PatsFanTx is why I stopped reading that site. Also since we're talking about SOJ fans, SAR1 is negative 24/7. I don't care for JN at all. Way too many kids who fight. The green/red rep is laughable.
