I mean he is really trying to faggify this sport! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/18/goodell-wants-to-define-what-crosses-the-line-in-trash-talking/ Goodell wants to define what crosses the line in trash talking NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday that he wants to set guidelines for what’s acceptable behavior for trash talking in the buildup to a game. Goodell said he appreciated different teams having different approaches, but wanted to stress that every team display “respect for the game.” The league office warned teams last week to cut down on their trash talking. We’re guessing that Antonio Cromartie and Terrell Suggs may have caught Goodell’s attention in particular. “There is also a line you don’t want to cross,” Goodell said. “I think we have to define that and don’t cross it. And that’s what we want to work on in the offseason.” First rule: Don’t wear t-shirts with a middle finger on it?
Goodell definitely goes to gay bars with Bob Kraft to discuss how they can pussify the league some more. 'oh my goshhhh, i cant believe rexy said THAT to YOU, UH! no more of this baby ill make a rule and stop it so they dont hurt my little bobby wobby's feelings'
i wonder how much this has to do with his boy Kraft saying that is not how his team rolls (when it kinda is)?
I think HS girls soccer will be tougher than the NFL soon. I just don't get what his problem is. The trash talking got this game this highest TV ratings in history. Dumbass!
hrmm... ok. i can see that being taken that way... i thought it was more along the lines of "someone will if oyu talk to their coach like that". who's that someone, ok, i got nothing against that... but i didn't see it so much as Bart threatening him.
Two things. One You left out that flaming douchebag Bill Polian. In fact, it's Polian, not Kraft that's responsible for the level of pussification. Kraft has been fortunate to have a coach smart enough to take advantage of it. Two Goodell goes home to bang Jane Skinner every night. Cut him some slack for operating on less than optimal brain power.
Can we stop with Kraft already. The problem with the entire fucking league is Bill Polian. This bull$#it started after the Pats MANHANDLED the Dolts, and Polian realized he had two choices. Lobby for more points and pussification, or be tied to Manning and a repeat of the Marino legacy.
Interesting theory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Polian Bill Polian is the President of the Indianapolis Colts NFL team. He rose to league prominence as the General Manager of the Buffalo Bills, building a team that participated in four straight Super Bowls, losing each time.
No Fun League strikes again. Anytime that it seems like anyone may figure out a way to enjoy playing football, he has to put an end to it. No props, no team celebrations, no trash talk, next would be names off the back of the jerseys if they didn't make most of their money that way.....
Right. manufacturing the wide open passing game (Remember the KGun?), that he though Manning would take to the level the Bills could not achieve. When The Pats killed the Dolts...Polian lobbied for the new Interference/Contact rules. Not a theory. Fact. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...bill-polian-is-the-biggest-cheater-in-the-nfl http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports...n-bill-polians-presence-alters-refs-approach/ The delicious irony of the fact that the new positioning of the umpire basically killed the Dolts no huddle is doubly satisfying.
You're 100% right that Polian lobbied for the "Ty Law rule" because Ty Law and the Pats physical secondary was too tough for the Colts to handle, but you can't cite facts with bleacher report.
