20-17 jets.folk kicks a 44 yd fg to win the game and kill the doug brien memories that have been haunting most of us
ahhhh.... because they played so lousy in the first half against the Ravens. I see at least 2 defensive TDs (and a lot of whinning.) Wes Welker crying was great. Ward crying would be awesome.
Why? Not like this game means anything. Not like it's for the AFC Championship and the chance to go to the Super Bowl. Nope I fully expect the Steelers to show up on Monday and try to say they won the game without even showing up. --------- SARCASM ----------
Well for your info we just beat the #1 seed ... I'm predicting a close game. I see two teams with great defense. The weakness I believe is the steelers o-line. 17-13 Jets.
That's my whole point. The jets and steelers are even. You guys act like you have the best defense ever. Lot like the pats fans last week that had the best offense ever.
Steelers will lose due to them relying mainly on their passing game. Take that out and they have nothing to fall back on.
I disagree about the O-line being a weakness. They do a good enough job but Ben holds the ball longer than any quarterback I ever saw.....sometimes too long, granted. If Ben was the average pocket-passer that throws the ball away, most teams wouldn't hit him all that much. But at least you are not predicting a blow out. What I was addressing, was the folks that thought just because the Jets beat a division rival, who they very familiar with, that translates to a victory over Pittsburgh. Let's be real, Coach Ryan designed his defense to beat the Pats after all.
mendenhall isn't a big time back. peter king said it today. we'll out gain you on the ground and our coverage is better.
Peter King also said the Steelers will be going to the Super Bowl. So you can outrun us as long as we win.
Lose because of their passing game? Sorry Big Ben wins games. He has won games since his rookie year. If they lose, it will not because of our passing game.
As a group, with their shoddy O-line, Pittsburgh put up what? 125-130 yards? 99 of those were Mendenhall. Not being able to run was not the problem. Special teams was the difference in the last meeting, not the ground game. I did not see your big time backs out gain Mendenhall last time, what Makes you think they will this time?
