We'll find out later in the week hopefully. No one on this board knows anything more than that right now I don't think.
Agreed, i didn't think about that until after my post, even though the offense was clicking without the wildcat. If i remember they tried to snap a play with LT under center? Other than that a good straight offense.
Yes, Smith said he was ready to play but Rex told him to take it easy and get ready for the Steelers. Gutsy call by Rex but at least now we'll have our wildcat QB fresh and healthy for the Steelers
I would prefer to just not see the Wildcat at all. But special teams purposes, I really hope Brad Smith plays, although Antonio Cromartie has done a remarkable job filling in for Smith.
To me, they should only think about stopping the wildcat when it becomes ineffective, but as of now brad smith taking snaps almost always gets a big chunk of yardage. Yesterday also proved that the offense can be very effective without it, but i like when they mix it up.
He has, but I'd still rather see Smith returning than Cro. If a gunner lays a big hit and demolishes the returner, I'd rather be without Smith for the rest of the game than Cro.
We can't walk into town without our pistol cocked and all our bullets in the holster. Brad Smith is too clutch - we need this guy to beat the Steelers.
I love running the wildcat, the defense has to prepare to stop it and they have no idea what to expect with smith at the helm.
Smith was maybe 1 day away from playing yesterday. So he should be healthy enough to go next week. Gonna be a dogfight fellas. Gotta love AFCCG week!
Everyone at my place nearly shit themselves when LT fumbled the snap, thank god he got a nice jump on it.
