Unless Welker plans on wearing his uniform to watch the Jets this week, his days in uniform are done for the season.

Welker is gonna check the closet for Eric Smith before he goes to bed.

Welker and Woodhead payed for making catches. They got hit hard at will, That hit that Eric smith landed on welker where he broke the patriot decal off his helmet was immaculate.

I think Smith's hit on Welker is what was in the back of Welker's mind when he made that drop on the goal line.

Goodell was watching though. Also, I hate when commentators, analyst point out the blow to the heads pretty much telling the league to look here so you can empty their pockets.

Doesn't matter. He didn't launch, it wasn't blindside and Welker wasn't "defenseless" so the hit was perfectly legal.

BUMP - Bart Scott on Boomer and Carton right now - 9:43am (EST).

Edit: Says they love their coach, would do anything for them.

NE didn't have a vertical threat, Jets' D objective was the LBs and Safeties stuck with the Pats WR on the short routes.

Takes a shot at the Pats' D - "Anybody's defense can play when your QB puts up 30 points."

Says that Rapelisberger is a "real man" on the field, as compared to Tom Brady - says Rapelisberger will stand in there and take the hit for his teammates and hang in there to make the play and take contact (suggesting Tom Brady doesn't).

And Welker lowered his head like a runner.
