Rich looks like he's ready to cry trying to figure out how the Pats got beat today by the Jets, I wonder if Rich placed a large amount of money on the Pats and lost his butt.
Haha, he's probably stunned like the rest of us. It's not that he can't figure out how the Pats lost, it's that he can't figure out how the Jets pulled off what everyone else in the world thought was impossible.
I have been waiting all week for someone to just say that the MNF game just got out of hand really early with the 53 yard FG attempt, challenge and a 12 yard punt. Add Leonhard's injury on Friday before and you have it. After being down 17-0 the rest of the game really did not matter, we were not coming back on that night. I thought Eisen was smart enough to see that.
It took awhile to sink in for me tonight....... after the game ended, I just sat there silent at the bar, and finished a beer, soaking everything in. On the way home it hit me all at once, and I started going nuts like a kid. unlike last year, a playoff win isn't enough for me. I want the whole enchilada, but today was a good start. :jets:
I will be interested to see if any of the "experts" say anything about how in each of their last 3 playoff games the Patriots were thoroughly outplayed in a game in which they were big favorites, with two being at home and one on a neutral field. For all of the talk about how BB is a genius, he's looked pretty ungeniuslike in those games.
