Granted he didn't play very well, but is it his fault that his receivers dropped a game leading TD (Boldin) and first down on 4th and long (Housh)? The Steelers took advantage of opportunities, no doubt about it. However, Ravens gave you this game though between the two big drops, and the big penalty nullifying the punt return TD, on a fuckin silver platter.
Do you want us to win so you can be at home or are you sick and tired of getting beat by Brady, what's he like 6-1 against you guys ???
oo absolutely. Best defense in the NFL as always. Like I said they took advantage of opportunities, and in the end they committed fewer mistakes than the Ravens allowing them to win. Saying Flacco is a 'choke artist' is a bit ridiculous I think. Boldin catches the TD, theres a good chance the Ravens win the game. Would you call him a choke artist if that happened? Flacco wasn't facing a Texans defense, he was facing the friggin Steelers. I don't know what most people expected him to do. He certainly didn't 'choke' though. I'd say the receivers choked more than anything.
Hmm let's see. Host the AFC Championship game or go on the road. No brainer. Which team would I rather watch in the Super Bowl if they beat us next week? Patriots or Jets...hmmm no brainer. Jets I believe in my team no matter who they play next week. I'd just rather it be you guys.
The Ravens took advantage of our mistakes in the first half. We returned the favor. In the end the better team still won.
Joe Flacco threw an awful interception and fumbled a snap. He had no control over the drops or Ray Rice's fumble. In my opinion, the offense as a whole choked. I just feel like Joe Flacco is incredibly overrated. He's always struggled in the playoffs.
That I'll definitely agree with. I do think he is overrated. I believe he has an 8/3 ratio of INT to TD, which is amazing considering he's won 4 playoff games. Even Sanchez has put up better postseason numbers than that.
In 7 career playoff games, Joe Flacco's throw 4 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. 3 fumbles (2 lost) in his playoff career. 9 total turnovers in 7 career post season games.
He's won 4 playoff games because they always play chumps in the wild card round then lose to the REAL teams.
Well I was gonna say he's won playoff games strictly because of his defense, unless you think the Patriots of last year are chumps too?
Polamalu had several bad plays today. Pretty sure that the safety who filled in for him did a better job against the jets then Polamalu did against the Ravens today. I'm not saying Polamalu is bad, I'm just saying I didn't think he played a good game by any stretch today
