I disagree. There is a framework of rules provided by the league, but there is always room for subjectivity. Subjectivity is a part of officiating in almost every sport and as long as that is the case, there is always the potential for bias. Officials are also capable of human error (e.g. out of position to view a particular foul) which creates unintentional bias.
