He's definitnely not playing if Hunter is healthy but if we get some guys dinged up we could be in major trouble. As long as wwe don't have more injuries I think we'll be ok if Woody is out. Notice how even after McKnight had the excellent performance 2 weeks ago that he wasn't even active last week? You are better than this, stop acting like a typical fan. I pointed out he was playing better. You took it as me saying he was ready to start. I guess this is my fault for not being more specific when replying to the comment I did - I see where your confusion comes from. I was one of the people saying there wasn't much to take from performances against the Bills, including the overreaction to the McKnight performance. What we can see is that McKnight and Vlad have clearly improved since preseason.
I didn't take that as he was ready to start, I quoted your post but it was more in general for others to read in case they thought we'd be ok w/ him b/c he did a decent job against Buf. This "rumor" is over two hours old already and I would think that somewhere, someone would have posted something about it....now Bassett did mention the achilles which is different from the injury he has been battling....here's hoping that it is not true....

ugh....let's hope Hunter can minimize his penalties. this really sucks...Woody was pretty good as a run blocker.

Hunter stepped it up big time with the pass protection when he started.. but Woody is a far, far superior run blocker.
Props to Woody for playing through that last week, his body was pretty fucked up. Might've been his last game as a Jet, lets get him another ring.
not an ideal situation....but does Ducasse see a few snaps on Sunday? (maybe to spell Hunter) too soon for him? I know he played decent in the Bills game....and showed flashes of his potential
This probably elevates him to active, but I doubt he gets much burn, if any. This really puts a damper on my hopes and dreams of a few 10 minute TD drives.
