It's well documented by Jets fans (and Colts/Steelers/Ravens fans) that Brady is a complete asshat. The funny thing though is that fans of teams that don't compete regularly with the Patriots think he really is as squeaky clean as the media tries to portray him. But it's all a part of the competition, and players do it more than fans would like to think.

I'm sure Brady is not happy with Rex's last assertion that Manning would have been watching the game instead of going to a broadway play.

Not sure what Rex is aiming at here -- either he's hoping Brady gets so irritated that it affects his play. The other option is that it lights a fire under Brady that the Jets don't need. I'm not sure there is precident for these shots to actually do any good for the Jets.

It's refreshing to hear Belly at least respond like a human being instead of a drone.

I don't think they affect things one way or the other. I remember leading up to the first Jets/Pats game last year Kerry Rhodes made those comments about wanting to "embarrass" the Pats, and the media made a big fuss about the Jets giving them bulletin-board material. The Jets went out, completely dominated Brady in that game and won.

It comes down to preparation and execution. Everything else is just fan and media hype. The Jets suffered a big blow when Leonhard went down the Friday before the MNF game and that played a bigger role in what happened that night than anything that was said during the week.

Agreed, I think over all the entire thing was more a knock on Caldwell and not Brady, but the press took that side and ran with it. Basicly he came out and said "Manning has no help" and the timeout with 29 seconds to go jsut drove the point home, Caldwell is in way over his head.

Brady is such a punk. He's gonna have plenty of time to rewatch Lombardi once we bounce him from the playoffs. Great QB but disrespectful punk.

If nothing else, all this banter makes it fun for the fans and talk shows.

Clever handle. Now we'll NEVER be able to figure out what team you root for.

really? You don't see Brady in the media each week tooting his own horn and many of his comments are in response to an opponents'. Its pretty well known fact that he does his talking on the field where it should be done.

More importantly, it means he doesn't have to either - if the New England Bastards don't win the Superbowl he can switch to the winners without needing to change usernames. Smart kid.

This is the amazing thing about BB. He is so boring that Pat fans embrace comments like these as if while stating the above,he had a quart of tequila, makeup smeared all over his face and two hookers on each arm.

And his fan(s) sit there like proud parents watching their 6 month old walk for the first time.

I will admit...thats some real breakout material for him.

The whole thing is BS. How does Rex, or anyone else for that matter, know how any QB prepares? Unless he were spying. Pure conjecture, baseless crap. The numbers speak, not opinions.
